We take it with rice or with chapatti.<br />The chickpea is one of the very famous and common lentils in India. The curry made with it is called choley . when we think of choley , a name automatically comes to our mind is Bhature. For making the lentil curries more tasty we can add minced chicken or egg to it .</span></div><div>(from top to bottom red lentil curry with shredded chicken , dal makkhani, choley and bhature made by leepa)</div></div></div></div>LEEPAhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15614233897482566945noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-416589246505656660.post-70820705675291801452008-04-17T18:28:00.000-07:002008-10-22T20:58:04.384-07:00rice dishes<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgp1WKZiE-7JbcCH5ZKOz-nDpmLUdxGfRgGYzUeBqmvRhcxKlU_5G-5lZxhiCnyg4aZsGZlDjRnNefEChFsC8NPH-idAdl1KOB0FFNjDeD6vBiN7Bg2yXvVcJmFsGJw85U5Bo8ZGzpQ8Nk/s1600-h/IMG_6024.JPG"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgp1WKZiE-7JbcCH5ZKOz-nDpmLUdxGfRgGYzUeBqmvRhcxKlU_5G-5lZxhiCnyg4aZsGZlDjRnNefEChFsC8NPH-idAdl1KOB0FFNjDeD6vBiN7Bg2yXvVcJmFsGJw85U5Bo8ZGzpQ8Nk/s320/IMG_6024.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5260193535784685378" /></a><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjqn-Nn0mVDwqyfw-uig69S7GRNnGSlI8kkKWQUIiuTr44locAqOf-aMu_5rIIGopds224ABm4V0tcKytJcJqOrO5QdlannU7UIkz9A34s_-YxVDQ0jeDxsRJL-V61-kbpL6ojzMkHvZX0/s1600-h/IMG_0296.JPG"><img style="FLOAT: right; MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5190392959985889122" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjqn-Nn0mVDwqyfw-uig69S7GRNnGSlI8kkKWQUIiuTr44locAqOf-aMu_5rIIGopds224ABm4V0tcKytJcJqOrO5QdlannU7UIkz9A34s_-YxVDQ0jeDxsRJL-V61-kbpL6ojzMkHvZX0/s320/IMG_0296.JPG" /></a><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhpqeLrURlDXGs0gXG-kF9hCw6mYIuRbrhYjdOIydkOHGOxmxPtgZQtNftuFWMGMY1w-YYH7q2dgtLUflxYfYI8fNUO_Tw4Z8F6zGm58kRTCMgKQDr1NT-b9nYhwbwcq5xQMWHZiQIHANM/s1600-h/IMG_6376.JPG"><img style="FLOAT: right; MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5190392749532491602" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhpqeLrURlDXGs0gXG-kF9hCw6mYIuRbrhYjdOIydkOHGOxmxPtgZQtNftuFWMGMY1w-YYH7q2dgtLUflxYfYI8fNUO_Tw4Z8F6zGm58kRTCMgKQDr1NT-b9nYhwbwcq5xQMWHZiQIHANM/s320/IMG_6376.JPG" /></a><br /><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiCUAPA1SaY96pzWK2xGZyygYNhnLop_iLs6RPivcjcJ-PpsRiRAYB-BM33HoByxHfNvbYNjuYmPTl9A50Px6QnuB2kCRne9UnjCveT_2kQHPZdAL1cy8J1NOuKanZOk-p9_yEcc5kWbpE/s1600-h/IMG_0318.JPG"><img style="FLOAT: right; MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5190392599208636226" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiCUAPA1SaY96pzWK2xGZyygYNhnLop_iLs6RPivcjcJ-PpsRiRAYB-BM33HoByxHfNvbYNjuYmPTl9A50Px6QnuB2kCRne9UnjCveT_2kQHPZdAL1cy8J1NOuKanZOk-p9_yEcc5kWbpE/s320/IMG_0318.JPG" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHDkck1gTcJ8DUiEZetYCBygRLwrx9ahWU6qT71lnPpnjMFhjj6-bwbDkSgH7Oz6Z_LVobQMFyRga4bc4ECLP4rRdTIEtC7OgrVJAkC_-_DKBzbnNBXOrwhB_dtMcdNvm9SQCTukcqrPI/s1600-h/IMG_0293.JPG"><img style="FLOAT: right; MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5190392311445827378" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHDkck1gTcJ8DUiEZetYCBygRLwrx9ahWU6qT71lnPpnjMFhjj6-bwbDkSgH7Oz6Z_LVobQMFyRga4bc4ECLP4rRdTIEtC7OgrVJAkC_-_DKBzbnNBXOrwhB_dtMcdNvm9SQCTukcqrPI/s320/IMG_0293.JPG" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><div><font face="georgia">Rice is a major food in India. I think many times making a starter needs more work and care than that of a main course curry. And of course starters are more delicious. When we are making a very special dinner consisting of chicken biriyani and chicken butter masala then starter should be of that status also.<br />In that case a starter can be tandoori chicken or Afghani chicken kabab or a baked pomfret. But sometimes we can make some light starters like fish cutlets also when we invite our guests for a dinner. when you serve your starters with a glass of Lassi then no doubt your guest will cherish your royal treatment for a very longtime.</div><br /><div></div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZfOulGMs3aIDkxxhc_jyRC20Ak5inQ9njkzzmyltno7dVm4xKVEelRUto8wLxvf4r7lD5q26Rhyphenhyphen-qWDmNaCSZH4YanpZw6f4LmDFz1HTMhqSSDNDVYdmfmAlFXXKB3JYjxIyiztKymlg/s1600-h/IMG_0405.JPG"></a><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZfOulGMs3aIDkxxhc_jyRC20Ak5inQ9njkzzmyltno7dVm4xKVEelRUto8wLxvf4r7lD5q26Rhyphenhyphen-qWDmNaCSZH4YanpZw6f4LmDFz1HTMhqSSDNDVYdmfmAlFXXKB3JYjxIyiztKymlg/s1600-h/IMG_0405.JPG"></a><br /><br /><br /><div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>LEEPAhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15614233897482566945noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-416589246505656660.post-39910285024665236092008-03-03T23:47:00.000-08:002008-03-03T23:51:09.742-08:00Types of Indian food<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5WSJE-cxxZXu9zlqHZNMyXNq6pxshrrxsIeMvZFGRT9FnQS0c_nj_hyphenhyphenCmb2zL2N0KxtxznbjDrvlqujr58ChiuYIvqN9r5aSkHH4LyjDzBVD5cV4tJPIrcw2DCHxKwO_RKkXlUPiek8U/s1600-h/baked+pomfret.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5173790429984312146" style="FLOAT: right; MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5WSJE-cxxZXu9zlqHZNMyXNq6pxshrrxsIeMvZFGRT9FnQS0c_nj_hyphenhyphenCmb2zL2N0KxtxznbjDrvlqujr58ChiuYIvqN9r5aSkHH4LyjDzBVD5cV4tJPIrcw2DCHxKwO_RKkXlUPiek8U/s320/baked+pomfret.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div>Many foreigners think Indian food is only curries.</div><div>but Indian food consists of many varieties of curries, rice dishes, deep fried dishes, pan fried dishes, starters, baked and grilled items and many kinds of desserts and sweets.</div><div>(photo- baked pomfret by leepa)</div><div> </div>LEEPAhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15614233897482566945noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-416589246505656660.post-4395932446897963902008-03-03T23:16:00.000-08:002008-04-05T23:29:14.085-07:00The art of cooking<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhx-haM3zfxu9riPXSMXZ5GabIGEmC04V5e_3sEYbIkwtpx0wsR9Kk1wDbYhJfIM0A22K3jM_NiTzF2hG2VrW40ncjMmI1OMx07xN-183gH3YHFEyFa4pBrzr1xp2kVA7xzb-EB6k8tf0k/s1600-h/afgani+chicken+kabab.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5173784494339509026" style="FLOAT: right; MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhx-haM3zfxu9riPXSMXZ5GabIGEmC04V5e_3sEYbIkwtpx0wsR9Kk1wDbYhJfIM0A22K3jM_NiTzF2hG2VrW40ncjMmI1OMx07xN-183gH3YHFEyFa4pBrzr1xp2kVA7xzb-EB6k8tf0k/s320/afgani+chicken+kabab.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div>I think cooking is an art.
